Idaho Steel Products Acquires REYCO Systems, Inc.

On Tuesday July 19th, Idaho Steel Products, Idaho Falls, Idaho announced the acquisition of all available stock of REYCO Systems, Meridian, Idaho effectively purchasing all the assets, designs, and patents of the company.  Idaho Steel Products is a major supplier to the North American food processing industry and has established strategic partnerships world-wide. 

Idaho Steel’s products include full dehydrated potato processing lines, dryers, cookers, blanchers and related equipment.  Idaho Steel has also recently developed machinery for the fresh-cut fruit and vegetable industry including a new automated cabbage corer.  It is expected that in the long-term, REYCO’s established sales representatives will have access to an expanded variety of equipment available through Idaho Steel in addition to a wealth of processing knowledge and experience.

REYCO Systems supplies industrial equipment to the food processing industry including a full line of air make-up and filtration equipment, oil removal and stack scrubbers to the fried potato industry, dewatering equipment for the fresh-cut and processed vegetable industry as well as pneumatic conveying lines for fragile products in the fresh cut, processed and cereal markets. REYCO is also the leading supplier of pneumatic waste conveying systems to the fresh-cut fruit and vegetable industry. REYCO’s recent partnership with Steril-Aire UVC Emitters™ provides their customers an effective Ultraviolet decontamination technology for fresh or frozen products. According to ISP President, Delynn Bradshaw, Idaho Steel intends to allow REYCO Systems to operate as a stand-alone company with no major changes to the product line or current distribution network in the foreseeable future. “This synergistic arrangement will allow us to more readily integrate REYCO’s high quality systems in the complete processing lines that we build and install. In addition, it allows us to capitalize on REYCO’s established sales force, and leverage this network to promote Idaho Steel core products to a more diverse market.”
