Over the past twenty-five years, REYCO Systems has developed a complete line of fluid removal and recovery systems for the processed food industry. Whether dewatering a product prior to a freeze tunnel, removing and recovering “liquid gold” type treatments in the fresh produce industry, or recovering and filtering fryer oil to a french fry line, REYCO Systems can provide technology specific to you application.
REYCO’s patented WaterVac® is available in four different sizes, each provides an inexpensive solution to removing water and heat from a line of blanched potatoes, or fresh cut cabbage or washed and vegetables. The WaterVac® is available with a conveyor or it can be mounted on an existing freezer or pre-cooler belt. Benefits include a temperature drop prior to freezing, reduced product clumping during the freeze, and the ability to increase time between freezer defrost cycles by up to 50%.
The REYCO DynaVac System takes our patented WaterVac® system to a new level. The DynaVac is custom designed to meet specific production requirements. We have developed systems to remove both water and heat from product streams that can completely eliminate the need for a pre-cooler. We can provide USDA approved systems that can remove and recover expensive product coatings for fresh fruits and vegetables saving you money. We offer a combination of product agitation, multiple suction plenums, and product turn-overs to provide reduce remaining surface water to less than one percent.
The REYCO Oil Miser® is the culmination of decades of proprietary engineering work in collaboration with customers around the world. The Oil Miser® is standard on over 120 french fry and specialty potato production lines around the world. Removing oil immediately after the fryer allows the processor to introduce a cleaner product into the freeze tunnel, dramatically reducing costly clean-up and defrost times. Further, the elimination of excess oil virtually eliminates fat globules that can build up on packaging equipment or worse yet, end up in the finished product. REYCO offers units available in seven sizes ranging from the laboratory size “Micro-Miser” to the 100 HP “Magnu-Miser.”
The REYCO DynaMiser is the latest addition to the Oil Miser® family of products. The DynaMiser has taken REYCO’s advancements in water removal and applied them to the recovery of fryer oil. Recent installations have proven increases of up to 50% in recovered oil over the standard Oil Miser® conveyor and with the current, high cost of oil we are seeing paybacks of six months or less.
