The REYCO Fryer Air Washer (Fryer Stack Scrubber) offers a unique solution to the problem of removing oil and fat from a fryer air stream and provides a low-cost cleaning solution prior to an exhaust stack.
The REYCO Fryer Air Wash System incorporates nearly thirty years of experience and knowledge in the field of air handling, cleaning, filtering and discharge to provide a reasonable cost solution to clean fryer air prior to exhaust in food processing facilities. In addition to providing a unique solution to cleaning the exhaust air, REYCO can provide complete air ventilation studies to insure all your air flows properly within your plant to remove smoke and haze, eliminating backup from the fryer stack, and ensuring a positive pressure throughout your facility.
The REYCO Fryer Air Washer is designed with an initial exhaust saturation chamber where stainless steel spray nozzles saturate the fryer air and effectively impinge the airborne oil. This mixture is then forced through a series of mist eliminators which remove the oil-laden water from the air, discharging clean dry air into the atmosphere. The oil/water mixture is drained from the eliminators to a skim tank where the oil and water are separated. The oil is typically sent to waste while the water is re-circulated as spray in the washer. The REYCO Fray Air Washer is manufactured in three standard sizes designed to fit nominal French fry and other potato lines. These include the Model 700 for Co-Product lines, and the Models 1100 and 2500 for medium and high capacity production lines. Larger sizes are available for specialty applications. REYCO Systems can incorporate an Energy Recovery Coil on the front side of the Fryer Air Washer which will allow you to recover low to medium-grade from your fryer exhaust for use throughout your facility. This heat is normally channeled to blancher water make-up but can be distributed to heat incoming make-up air as well. |
